Boston based band ILL WIND are known for their fantastic “Flashes” LP, produced by Tom Wilson (Simon & Garfunkel, Mothers Of Invention, Velvet Underground…) and originally released on ABC Records in 1968.

Boogie, bluesy, early-70s jam rock from the American state of Illinois - a familiar release for the ultra dedicated rock vinyl collector, mostly due to the extreme rarity and high collectability value of the first private pressing from 1971. It was a long time coming for Guerssen to do a huge (and affordable!) vinyl reissue campaign, and frankly, I'm quite happy to see it get the greater recognition it deserves.

Holy crap ! One of my favorite albums coming to bandcamp. Acid doom of the highest order !!!!! Incredible acid guitar and some crazy passionate vocals , even if I don’t understand German !
